You could be making your dream project right now.
Kickstarter, Patreon, and other crowdfunding sites provide opportunities for artists to create and own their art in unprecedented an exciting new ways. But what could go wrong? What if you launch a project and it falls flat? What if you annoy everyone you love by asking for money? This course lays out how artists can create their dream projects — albums, shows, books, and more — in a way that strengthens and grows your community!
You’ll learn how to cultivate an audience by sharing art instead of “marketing.” We’ll build you a community, not just casual fans. And this deep, interactive relationship will lead to an audience who is ready to crowdfund your projects on Kickstarter, Patreon, or wherever you go! Create exactly the art you want to make, for the people who love you, and get paid doing it. Doesn't that sound great?

About your instructor
Hi! I'm Laser. My band launched our first Kickstarter project in 2014 with no label, agent, manager - not even a high-quality video - and made over $80,000. Since then, I've been asked for advice on how to make a living making music. I started coaching other artists on crowdfunding five years ago, and I've figured some strategies that have helped every one of my clients reached their goals!
All together, I've raised over $1,000,000 on Kickstarter and Patreon.
My artists friends keep telling me they are waiting to be "discovered" or "signed," and while they sit and wait, they don't make anything new, don't grow themselves, and don't grow an audience. My crowdfunding clients, on the other hand, make thousands of dollars to take control of their careers, and they build a deep and beautiful relationship with their audience.
I love what I do (I've even written a book about it!), and I'm excited to put all the things I've learned into an easy-to-follow course for you. Let's make it happen!
